Drugs Vs. Herbs

 You Decide!

All diseases are diseases of the whole body. There is no way to treat an isolated symptom effectively. If the gallbladder is causing problems, it is only a symptom of an underlying problem within the entire body, whether it be deficiencies caused by poor nutrition, either prenatal or neonatal, lack of proper exercise, tension, or another basic problem. So, we must consider the entire body. Also, no one can cure the body of anything. We can only help supply the body with its required nutrients and thus enable the body to heal itself.

It is important to understand that helping the body to heal itself cannot be achieved through miracle cures. Healing takes time, patience and discipline. Often a condition will worsen when treatment begins and toxins begin to be pulled from the system. It is important to understand that this is completely natural, and that patience and perseverance will soon bring the body onto the road to recovery and health. It takes time for the body to respond and for us to really feel a difference in general health. We must remember the length of time it took for the body to get into poor condition, and also the fact that we are not treating only symptoms but the whole body. Restoration will not occur in a few days or even a few weeks.

We are coming full circle to the realization of the value of things in their natural state; and as we become weary of the drug situation in our society and seek for more natural answers to our health problems, herbs reappear on the scene like a breath of fresh air. Herbs are natural, well suited for every condition. They cause no iatrogenic responses. They are FOOD–they cause NO side effects, they produce no instant miracle cures. They can bring about miraculous results, but these results come through natural means.
