What is Reiki
(pronounced ray-key)?
Rei means “universal” and Ki means “life force energy”. Reiki
is a deep relaxation, healing technique. When the body is in a
relaxed state, it heals itself. Reiki is a powerful healing
energy.
What else does
Reiki do?
As a Reiki I Practitioner, you can channel energy to yourself,
plants, animals, friends, loved ones, your food, and even your
computer! It also reduces jet lag. Reiki can be used on anyone,
any thing, any age..even children. There are many, many uses
for Reiki!
Can anyone
learn Reiki?
Yes, anyone can learn Reiki. It is our birthright to be able to
receive the universal life force energy. It is a gift from God
for all of us to use if we choose to do so. Our bodies are
“hardwired” from birth to receive Reiki energy.
How does Reiki
work?
During your attunement (initiation), four chakras (energy
centers) are cleared to receive the energy from the universe,
through your crown, to your heart and out the palms of your
hands to the recipient. You do not use your own energy. You
also receive a healing when you give a healing.
Why should I
learn Reiki?
Stress is very detrimental to our health. Reiki can relieve
stress and add powerful energy to our body and to others. Reiki
gives you an edge for better health and awareness. No matter
where you are, your healing hands are always with you to use at
any time.
How do I learn Reiki?
Reiki is taught by a Reiki Master. It is a one-day workshop of
approximately 8 hours. Reiki I students will learn hands-on
positions for healing themselves and others. The origin of
Reiki will be discussed as well as the many uses of Reiki.
